1. Accepting these terms

By downloading or using DrivePath, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app, and users under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent — which fits naturally, since a supervising adult is part of every practice drive anyway.

2. What DrivePath is (and isn't)

DrivePath is a practice driving log tool that helps learner drivers track supervised hours toward their state's licensing requirements. It is:

• Not a government application. DrivePath is independent and not affiliated with any DMV or state agency.
• Not a guarantee. Completing hours in DrivePath doesn't guarantee license approval — that decision belongs to your state.
• Not a substitute for official sources. Requirements can change; always verify with your state's official DMV website. Our state-by-state hours guide is a starting point, not legal authority.

3. Your account and your data

You are responsible for the accuracy of every drive you log. DrivePath records what you enter; it does not independently verify your sessions. Remember that your log becomes a certified document when you submit it: falsifying driving logs may violate state and federal laws. Your data belongs to you. It stays on your device and your iCloud (details in our Privacy Policy), and you can export or delete it at any time.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• Free tier — logging and tracking drives costs nothing.
• DrivePath Premium — unlocks PDF/CSV export and import, at $4.99/month or a $9.99 lifetime purchase.
• All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date; manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use DrivePath to break the law. Specifically, you may not:

• Create false or fraudulent driving log entries
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
• Circumvent security or access features you haven't purchased
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual property

The DrivePath app, name, design, and content are our property and protected by law. Your driving log data is yours — we claim no ownership over anything you record.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

DrivePath is provided "as is." We work hard on reliability, but we can't guarantee the app will always be error-free or available. Export your log regularly (it takes one tap) so an important document never depends on any single device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to DrivePath is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll notify you in the app before changes take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
